Finding Casey...

Monday, 10:10pm. Locating Casey.

Do magic to locate Casey. Grab a playstation controller and wander through Berkley.

Monday, 12:00pm. Oh joy, sewers.

Mary tracks Casey and Faith down to the sewers.

Hear voices. Sneaking up. The Mayor arrives and talks to Faith. He's trying to convince her to leave casey and head out. That fighting Mary now isnt a good idea. "Leave him. Forget the knife."

Faith says "Its mine. And you gave it to me. Im not giving it to her. She takes something of mine, I take something of hers. I cant believe you're trying to talk me out of this. I can deal with her. Ive tangled with a slayer before. Remember buffy? Err, oh yeah, right. Whatever. Look, Im not giving up that knife, boss."

"It's not worth it... *sigh* Well it's too late now. She's just outside."

Faith holds the gun to Caseys head. "How about we trade? The knife for Casey. Fair swap?"

The Mayor breaks in "Maybe I can arrange something here. Mary, im sure you're used to making deals." The mayor wants faith safely out, and doesnt really care about what happens to Mary.

They deal that Faith gets the knife and Mary gets Casey and they Mayor doesnt get involved.

Faith runs off, the Mayor stays round. Mary rips off the tape over Casey's mouth.

She turns to casey "Faith... is a ... psycho... and she's right."

Casey says: "uumf pfftmt ermf. Tape sticks. Hurts."

Mary continues "I stole the knife from Faith because she was killing people with it."

"oooook..." Casey says uncertanly.

"And I stole the power of the slayer from her."

"So you mind controlled me."

"I didnt know what was going to happen."

Casey walks off.

Mary follows "I didnt know... really..."

Casey tries to understand but still ends up walking off.

Mary continues babbling "Faith was trying to kill me. She wanted to drain me with the knife to heal faster."

"When?"

"When we fought the fire demon. She was in the bath, bleeding and she had the knife."

"How can trust you now? How do I know whats true now."

"I didnt know what was going to happen. I took the power and I didnt know about the memory changes. But only you know. And Jayde."

"And demons. And Arden. And whoever you shot with the arrow."

"Faith was talking to demons. I shot Lucy because they were opening the portal for Ovocam, Faith's old boss."

Mary describes "Faith being hurt in the bath tub and how Faith tried to kill Mary because she had been stabbed. Faith was going to die and she was going to use the knife on me and use it to heal herself, so I took the knife off her and dialed 911. Look, this world with Faith as a Slayer sucked. She's a psycho. She was killing people. People were being nice to her because she was powerful and she was killing people. It was insane."

Casey isnt trusting what Mary is saying. He wants to go and talk to Jayde (via Gemma) alone!

Mary counters that "When Faith had power she used it for..."

"Like you have."

"Not like that. People tollerated Faith. Jayde unleashed her saying 'as long as I dont know about I dont care'."

"That sounds like Jayde. So now what."

"I changed it. I just wanted to help people. Its hard. Sure I wanted to take Faiths power and knife and fuck her over. But all this, its hard."

"I want my memory back. Then I can work out what to do. Oh, is Andy ok?"

"Yeah."

"Yeah, she just punched him out."

"I still want to talk to Jayde."

"She'll destroy everything, just so she can win. Look destiny is weird. Destiny chose Faith and Jayde to have the power. Thats how much it sucks."

"I still want to talk to people."

"You cant, it will ruin things. If people know they, wont trust me and who else would they trust? Jayde, Faith?"

"Faith mentioned the prophesy where the slayers fight. Is that you?"

"I dont know. Maybe Im destined to die."

"Hmmf. I dont have the choice any more. You replaced my memories. I might have different thoughts. Everything Im thinking now is based on my memories up till this point and i cant trust that. Maybe you're a crappy slayer and I just remember differently. Im going to go and talk to Gemma and tell her. Maybe she has the right to know that her sister isnt insane."

"Jayde will come and kill me. She hates me because wants to be number one. Think about it, its Jayde."

"I see destiny choses the most childish people to give power for."

"I chose to be the slayer to help people. Im doing this to be the best slayer and protect people."

"Im still going home and Im going to talk to Gemma and Im going to sleep alone and think about it."

Casey stomps off, holding the moral high ground in the sewer.

Mary deals with the moral low ground.
