Attack of the Mullet Men....

Monday, 12:30pm, Mall Squabbling!

Michael, Giles, Eddy. Jayde, Tara, Willow and Izmay and mullet man and medium crowd of shoppers.

Michael grabs Jayde's shirt arm. Izmay, Eddy rush up. Giles is heading towards you. Willow and Tara are behind that.

Jayde's plan is to do a sweeping kick, which works acely and Iz, Ed and Michael fall down. Giles is heading in now, J propells him into the water. MM runs away and J gives chase. Everyone else starts running after her. Run round past the escelators into crowds.

Fight. Izmay breaks away and says "He ment me, not her!" People stare confused. Izmay telepaths to Jayde 'Get that moron.'

Jayde starts to move, Willow says "stop!" and more shopping comes flying.

Izmay telepaths "Ill distract 'em", turns to Willow and says "Im Izmay.. err.. err.. Glorificus".

Eddy startles. Willows eyes turn black. Willow screams and a whole wall of glass behind her shatters and shards fly like daggers at Izmay. "Oh fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu..." in Izmays voice curses in J's mind.

Eddy shouts "Melt" and hear water behind.

Jaydes hands grab the mullet.

Mullet man says "holy shi... that was so cool. Do it again!! I..." *PUNCH*

Jayde is surrounded by fallen shoppers, spilt shopping and an unconcious man.

Izmay is looking like a wet cat. Giles isnt looking too much more impressed. Lots of stunned shoppers and slack jawed shop keepers.

Ethan pushes out of the croud, He chats away about camera angles and "Look, J darling. Great fight scene. I could really see the emotion on your face. But the cameras will be there and there darling. You're looking in the wrong direction during your confrontation."

J punches him. Ethan scores the pen and starts taking notes while trying not to drip blood.

W&T are comforting each other.

Giles storms up. "Ethan. You.. "

Ethan hands Giles a piece of paper, which he stupidly reads. "Get some donuts for the kids and Ill have a tea thanks."

"You've put people in danger Ethan and,.. and is that white with no sugar? Damn it!" And walks off.

Ethan puts his coat over the shivering Izmay.

Izmay shivers, "I.. d.dont recall anyone saying that the water would be that cold."

"You must have missed that meeting, dear. I did like your performance though. Brilliant adlib."

"I thought so...."

"Look, we'll take 5, ok. Then have a meet over snacks."

Mall security roll up. "What the hell is this?" Cops start to push through the croud too.

Ethan shows them a note. "Rehersals for our film. Look, I have permission from the mall's owners. And here is my saftey notices and authorisation from the store over there. You mean they didnt inform you? Jezus! Look, no saftey barriers. Whats up with you people? We arranged this 3 months ago and I even had my people talk to your people about making sure this area was safe. What the hell is it with you people. Someone could have been hurt. Management is totally to blame for this. Thats it. We're going to film in another mall."

Izmay, warming in temp and to her role, protests, "But the rehersals? The planning! We've already done the outside shots."

"Magic of movies dear, noone will ever know if we change locations for the internal shoot."

Store security put some calls in. Ethan chats to the police and shows them the 'memo'.

Giles comes back. Ethan takes his tea and almost spits it out.

Giles smiles, "Oh, too much vinegar? Sorry."

Ethan chats away and clears it up things with mall security.

Jayde chats to Ethan and he explains that he's arranged an interview for Jayde. Great says Jayde, lets go.

Jayde asks for the pen and Ethan hands it over with a warning about using it.

Hop into a (hire) car and off.

Monday, 2:00pm, Mall Squabbling!

Ethan has worked out an interview with Morgan Black LLC. Roll up to a hotel. Knock on suite door.

Guy in suit, Lady in business attire and two grunts. William (30s) and Renata (40s), Hr for MorganBlack LLC.

They ask a few questions:

• how did you hear about us?
• do you know what we do?
  • we deal with magical traffic for an extensive range of clients from this and other dimensions. Our goal is to be the supplier of mystical supplies for this dimension and ultimatly to compete with other dimensions aswell. We're bringing commercial best practice to the art of magic.
  • recovery of valuable items both locally and interdimensionally.
  • delivery of packages into dangerous locations
  • removal of obstacles for the corperation and also by contract for clients
  • efforts to maintain our position as the leading magic supplier
  • client relations, showing the flag, that sort of thing.
• why she wants external employment. "Short story is a falling out of the Watchers council."
• her relations with the watchers council
• expectations of the position. what she would do. how often. full time work. "Looking for contract based work. Variety."
• expectations of remuneration "Unique skills, so Id expect a signifigant amount."
• is travel a problem? Dimensional? "Nope." Chat about reloating to a base.
• what is her greatest thing she can bring to the company and what is the largest liability she will bring? "Liability: the baggage with the council. Assest? So many."
• is she willing to slay people aswell as demons? "Couldnt say at this stage."
• what is her understanding of a discrimination free workplace "..."

"Morgan Black? Are you big enough."

"Discription of the company etc."

"Working close or independant to the company?"

"Independant. But maybe closer later on."

"Maybe we should look for a 1 off contract?"

"Yep, good idea."

"Maybe an aquisitions contract."

"Ok. Might have some element of danger.... We're interested to see how you work, so if we can help you with the mission then we'll be happy to. We'll contact you in a week at the lastest. Oh and you dont get dental etc."

Shake hands, they hand out cards.

Chat with Ethan. He'd be happier to organise working independantly, but MB wouldnt be a bad place to work.

Chat with ethan, still dont trust him.

"Ive been keeping ripper and the others busy. Should I stop that?"

"I dont really care."

Jayde gets out at the Expresso pump.

Chat about magical weapons and a 'shadow sword' that Ethan has heard about. Shadow, opposite of light, dark copy of real things. Its generally wonderful stuff.

Jayde says to look into it.

Monday, 3:00pm, Expresso pump!

Ring perky old Gemma. "Stuffs been exciting! Mary and Faith are hunting each other. Casey kiddnapped. Conrad dissapeared. The council is fighting the war council. Oh and Arden says hi. He seemed different, but I didnt sence Lucy. Dad's worried about you. I said you were probably safer away from here."

"So noone is on your side."

"Im on your side. Arden's on your side. Its bad here. Everyone is fighting. How are you?"

"I have a bit more perspective."

Gemma mentions that things are feeling wrong. And that mary is more psycho than normal, so it seems wrong. I want to help.

"Good."

"I ment both of you."

"Augh! So whats going on with the concil?"

"Im worried that the war council will be after you, afterall, the council dont think your good any more. Be careful. Dad is fine."

"He just trying not to think of you and DMS."

"Arden says that he wants you to call and that he wants to talk to you but he didnt know if things were ok between you, what with the Lucy thing."

Monday, 4:00pm, Expresso pump!

Ring arden?

Arden cheerily answers. He's had an amazing time. Learning about magic and all. Oh and trying to get lucy out of his head. And laying low and causing trouble.

Faith & Mary thing. Ugly. Still going on. Lucy is keeping it happening because it keeps Mary busy.

Lucy says that the council know where you are. Oh she wants to know what you think of Iz? If she's making trouble then Lucy will get her to leave.

Have the whole 'I cant trust you while you might be a minion' talk. Oh well. Arden is going to talk to Lucy about things.

Jayde says that her life sucks because everyone is out to kill her. Arden says that Lucy doesnt want Jayde dead because she has a plan that needs her.

So Arden will try and un-minion

Monday, 4:30pm, Expresso pump!

Jayde hides at the Expresso Pump to avoid everyone and watches other people having mundane lives.

Monday, 5:30pm, Get a call

Get a call from Morgan Black saying that they would like the recovery of a silver object, from a sumoning thats going to take place tonight at the remains/construction site of the school. Deliver it to Leighton's restaurant at 7. Be on time. Attire is formal. You will be observed. Jayde enquires a bit more and finds out that its a spoon. Weird.

J arranges with Ethan to provice transport to the restaurant.

Jayde rushes out to find something formal from a shop somewhere... anywhere.... she grabs a maybe outfit and heads off.

Deal with Dawn to get into Buffys closet. Find a very suitable outfit, but with some mods its killer. Grab some weapons and stuff and head out.

Sword + stake and off. Head off to meet Ethan.

Head off to the school. Cultists all around.

Jayde sneaks in and grabs the guy in more colored robes. "One of you has a silver object, I want it."

"An unbeliever! Stop the unbeliever!!"

Jayde starts knocking people out and stabbing people and looking for the damn spoon!!! More cultists turn up and shout about killing the unbeliever.. I guess that would be Jayde.

One of the newly arrived cultists, Olga, throws an axe to Vladmir. Jayde slays the another one and another runs. Vladmir says "You shall not have the sacred spoon!"

Jayde laughs at their sacred beliefs. Jayde is obviously a heretic because she snickers at the sacred spoon!

Vlad tries to keep Jayde busy while there is feverous action in the burnt out cafeteria. Jadyde runs off and misses getting a fire axe in the back. Thanks Vlad.

Jayde heads into the caf and sees three cultists improvising a hand chopping off. This is no NOT occupational health and saftey conscious workplace, sheesh!

Jayde kicks some heads, grabs the spoon, heads out.

Outside, Vladmir is once again standing there with the bigger ritual axe this time. Jayde dives around it, rolls past Olga who chickens out and steps aside. Jayde heads out.

Not toooooo late for dinner.

Run off get in the car and off we go. Change in the back.

Monday, 7:20pm, Get a call

Head off to the restaurant. Police car from county and a black limo with diplomatic plates parked out front. Jayde has an initial worry about the police car, but overcomes her aversion and heads in.

William from HR and a waiter greets Jayde and Ethan at the door.

Lady introduces herself as Kelly Morgan, CEO of M&B LLC.

Sherif Dan Hutter, looking way uncomfortable in a monkey suit. He wants to be reelected and some of his officers were caught taking bribes. Combine that with the supernatural crime rate that he has to cover and his chances dont look good.

Venita Quaterman, runs a manufacturing plant in SD and got cut out by a cabal of other businessment. Found out it was _REALLY_ a cabal, so shes out to even the playingfield.

Kelly introduces Jayde as the Slayer. Invibed with supernatural power to counter the influx of supernatural forces from outside the dimension. She's considering a change of employer, not liking the fight alone and for nothing until you die retirement plan.

Kelly explains the whole 'power of threes' thing while plates are cleared and desert is served. Witnesses, plus business contacts. Help each other and help M&B.

Venita and Dan chat for a bit. Kelly and Jayde chat. Kelly wants to get Jayde onboard, but Jayde doesnt want to work for a big group.

An astral Mr Black arrives, errr astrally, and excuses his previous absence, but its hard living in an earthquake area.

Black is anal about cleaning his hands. Does astral dinner arrangement and chats a little. :) He's obviously having dinner where he is.

Kelly offers Jayde some contacts with the company, to try and work out a working arrangement should Jayde later decide that she wants in :).

Mr Black has some might fine wine put aside for his wife to try.

After dinner chat and Kelly uses the spoon to stir her coffee.

Monday, 9:30pm, Desert and after dinner chitchat.

Social chit cat and stuff with Kelly and her guests.

Have an astral chat with Mr Black.

Monday, 10:00pm, Back to Buffy's house.

Arrive in formal attire. Everyone is like 'blink blink' wow.

Dawn gives the thumbs up.

Gilies is looking for a mulching machine.

Jayde says she's going. Giles tries to talk her out of it. "Change for change's sake isnt the safest move."

Giles manages to talk her out of leaving and suggests instead hurting michael.

Go to sleep.

Dream of torn up hands and a missing nail. How horrid.

Tuesday, 8:30am, Wake up.

Mulching machine. Eeeew.

Michael spends the day learning how to disarm people.

Chat to michael about taking out Mary and the Knife. Find out about the dragon scale from Giles. Michael gets a list worked out for taking on Mary.

• get the knife off her before the confrontation.

Tuesday, 6:30pm, Post training.

Cook dinner for everyone. Well, opened the can.

People stagger back beaten up and covered in mulch. Botched the first house but eventually found the mulching machine after an incorrect home invasion.

Tuesday, 11:30pm, Patrolling.

5 vamps + 1 being dragged.

Dragged guy is feral and crazy.

Michael takes one.

One vamp goes towards the russian guy.

Crazy vamp charges and rips at Jaydes throat before being staked.

Meet Vladimir again in a graveyard doing experiments. Vamps roll up. "Ah, you are vampire, sir. I meet only moon wolves before. I put on gloves. Was boxer in younger day you know. Not so happy about how body is now. ZzzzzzzT!!. Very happy with glove though. We have saying in russia, never mess with professor of high energy physics who survived encounter with pack of moon wolves."

Michael kills his too.

Prof is finding his toy at the uni. Hidden in a dimensional pocket. Rants on about renewable energy source. And jayde offers to come and help tomorrow.

Tuesday, 3:30pm, Buffy's house.

Tara and Willow are up. Buffy bot hasnt come back from patrolling.

Find dissassembled buffy bot in the trash. Look for other bits.

Willow will fix and see what she can do.

Wednesday, 8:00am, Buffy's house.

Willow has a vid of the buffy bots attacker.

Hooded in shadow figure. Buffy bot says it is a vamp and attacks. Axe hand caught and a backhand smashes the buffy bot.

Scooby meeting about this figure out.... rather than jayde's universe problem, but Jayde is just as conserned as everyone else. Jayde recounts her dream to the scoobies. The hooded figure is the same one as in the dream.

Wednesday, 9:00am, Buffy's house.

Scoobies start exploring 'hooded figures' with 'no temp' and 'strong' and 'looking for something in a crypt'. Also look for the grave in question.

Giles wants to see if Jayde can remeber any more details. Willow is going to fix the buffy bot.

Michael does some tests with Jayde on the buffy bot and discovers that it seems our enemy is much stronger. Think about practicing decapitaion moves.

Wednesday, 3:00pm, Willys and Buffy's house.

Check out willys and take Michael. Willy isnt happy to see Jayde again. Willy is happy to cooperate if Jayde leaves him and the bar alone. He's heard about some new vamp cult in town, but doesnt have details. Nothing on any hooded guy matching the description.

Back to the house and check out the buffy bot. Broken wrist. Cuts and slices on the plastic skin. Hmmm claws bad.

Wednesday, 5:00pm, Buffy's house.

The plan is patrol but stay low, looking for hoodie girl, rather than trouble.

Wednesday, 11:00pm, Patroling.

Finally find the hooded figure walking round graveyard with an old map or scroll. 'It' checks out the cemetry and then seems to not find what its looking for and head out.

Nearing the back of the reception area, Wavey Haired Girl jumps off the roof and attacks shouting "Monster!"

Hooded figure says in a female voice with a very british accent, "Stop. Dont make me fight you."

WHG attacks. Hooded girl avoids and dodges back, again asking WHG to stop. WHG keeps attacking. Hooded girl says "Very well. I honor you with first blood" and bows. WHG slices Hooded girls face. Hooded girl is thrown back, and the two of them struggle on the ground. Hoodie breaks free and rolls to one side. She rips a parking pole from the sidewalk and uses it like a quater staff to beat WHG back before impailing her to a dumpster with it.

Hoodie girl's hood reveals a dark haired, dark skinned woman of small and slightish build. Indian descent.

Hoodie girl then walks over and drains WHG's blood. Ooook.

Jayde calls in and leaves a message saying that she's on the trail of Mz Latest Evil but that she is probably a vamp.

Hoodie carries the body of WHG off and heads to another graveyard. She goes into a crypt for about 20 mins and then comes out sans WHG.

Jayde watches hoodie as she heads out of the graveyard and then heads back into the direction of town.

Jayde waits for Michael and then they check out the crypt. A search finds WHG in a coffin, decapaitated but 'layed to rest'. Michael checks out the neck and thinks the decapitation was done with skill/knowledge (not a thumpin' great axe), probably a small knife.

No evidence of camping or a base in this crypt. Hmm. Weird.

Russian guy

Meet Vladimir in the graveyard. He's setting stuff up and making a ruckus. He's worked out where Thor's hammer is on a map. He can sense it with the equipment, althogh it seems to be well hidden given the low readings.

He matched some magnetic field patterns from an artifact that he found in Norway once. "Fascinating magnetic field. Etched in the burned remains. Wonderful."

Jayde wants to know 'Whats in it for me' and Vlad counters with 'cheap energy would benifit everyone'. Jayde and Vlad argue about communism and stuff.

3 vamps and Hooded girl roll up. Vamps start picking up stuff and asking what Vladmir is doing out in a graveyard and generally playing with his equipment and toying with their food.

Hoodie girl comes over and chats to Jayde. "I am veda." She apologises for killing Jayde's sister (but its quickly worked out that this is WHG, a fellow slayer, not Gemma, a blight on all people of taste). She offers Jayde a share of WHG's blood or as she puts it, "her experiance".

Jayde is, like, eeeeew!!! "No thanks"

The following is a long tedious converation.

"I know a lot about the council and the slayer. I had a long conversation with a council member. I learned a lot about the council and the slayer."

"That must have been fun." Jayde notes.

"For example, I dont need to kill you, the council will do that for me. You know that the council deals with slayers who get too old? A slayer who reaches 23 is killed by the council. Its not needed for slayers controlled by the council because are usally dead by then. A few that have split from the council and survivied to that age, and the council has killed them. Although given the time of the slayer is coming to an end, that may not apply quite so much."

"But you're a vamp like... *dust* he was. We're destined to fight arnt we?"

"I see no reason to fight, unless our paths cross. I am stronger. If we fought now, you would die and I see no reason for that to happen unless it is needed."

"Thats fine with me. Weirdly, for some reason I believe you."

"I find it ironic that the council itself may be the ones responsible for ending the line of the Slayer. You shouldnt trust the Council, they serve their interests, not ours."

"I had worked that out."

"Good. You are smarter than most Slayers. I am in Sunnydale looking for a weapon. I will be here for, perhapse, a week more. Leave a message in that crypt if you wish to contact to me, I will have it checked daily. I am glad we had this conversation. We shall meet again."

"Sure, well you keep, err, safe, eh?"

Veda leaves and takes her vampy friends with her.

Michael turns up from where he was hiding and complains that 'we' should stop Veda before she finds what she is looking for, afterall thats just going to make her even harder to kill.

"But she could kill me now."

"But she could kill you more after she finds this weapon."

"But she could kill me now... and she said she wouldnt."
