Jayde gets news that Gemma is awake and should be ready to go home tomorrow. Yaay!

Mary goes and 'visits' casey[s brains out].

Gemma remembers mary as the slayer. Jayde sighs. Jayde exaplins whats happened and whats been going on, end of the world wise. Gemma doesnt remember it that way, but neither does she disbelieve Jayde. Gemma offers to do some research and help try and find out whats going on.

24 Sep 2000, Sunday 11:59pm, Patroling

Jayde and Mary go patroling together. Each nabbs a prowling vampire and they spot two more loitering around the graveyard. Mary and Jayde decide to try and sneak up on them.

The vamps seem to be waiting for someone/thing. Mary waits at the grave site and Jayde goes off to check for any others.

mary does some stuff

Jayde spots three more vamps approaching, two guys and a girl. She heads off to get Maryand together they plan an ambush.

Mary notes that the girl vamp has a weird aura that seems to be alive or animated. Weird.

As they are planning, the girly vamp senses something. She mutters something about a weird bird with a face and "lets get out of here"

"What about the others?"

"Screw them, Im not hanging round here with that!"

They turn to leave and the slayers pounce. Jayde takes the two guys while Mary takes the girl with the weird aura.

Mary continues with her increasingly disturbing habit of smashing the knife into her target's faces. The vamp dives back, but mary trips her and ends up slashing her across the leg. The vamp is trying to get away but Mary claws her way up the vamps body. Suddenly mary cries out as the vampire's blood turns into glass like shards and cuts into her leg. Mary renches herself up the crawling vamps body and attacks her head with the knife.

Disturbing. Roll san. :)

Jayde doesnt immediatly dust 'em, but she keeps them down and out long enough to end the combat and dispatch them at her lesure.

Jayde looks somewhat uncomfortable with Mary's behaviour but the two finish their patrol for the night.

Everyone goes home and sleeps.

24 Sep 2000, Sunday 10:34am, Jaydes place

Jayde sleeps in... duh.

Eventually she wakes up and as she is walking to the bathroom, she smells... errr.. fish? She heads into Gemma's room and finds Faith in the cupboard smelling of fish and rotten left overs.

Situation normal at che Jayde.

Chatting to Faith she finds that she is on the run from the cops who Faith says have finally decided to arrest her. Jayde decides that its all too hard so she convinces Faith to take a shower and then calls her dad to deal with it.

"She's on the run from the cops."

"Well we should turn her in."

"Yeah, probably best to get her out of the way. Look, see what you can do, huh?"

"Well Im not happy about acting illegally.."

"You dont have to. Just try see what you can do, huh?"

Jayde's dad reaches for Gemma's 'Save the Panda' phone and calls 911. Jayde heads off downstairs for breckfast.

Over some pancakes, she calls Alex. "Faiths in trouble. Blah blah. Over to you."

"Err, ok. Gee I thought I would have heard if they decided to prosicute."

"Whatever."

Heading off downstairs with Michael, Jayde hears some smashing of stuff and then Faith comes running out. Michael grabs her and Jayde comes running in. Faith counters with a trhow, but it obviously fails because Faith doesnt have super strength. The cops take her away and Michael notes to Jayde how that move "would never have worked."

Jayde ponders.

24 Sep 2000, Sunday 12:34pm, Jaydes house

Alex calls back sometime later and reports that Faith reassulted Hoshi and threatened her if she didnt 'withdraw the case'. Apparently Faith was drunk and there were lots of witnesses. Dumb.

Jayde goes off and picks up Gemma from hospital. Gemma mentions more weird dreams about Leda's past and stuff, but Jayde says she hasnt had them so Gemma is a weirdo.

"Oh."

Apparently Gemma is also having problems with her aura reading abilities.

24 Sep 2000, Sunday 12:34pm, Geek house

Mary and Casey finally do some actual homework. Mary then goes off and does some training. She also gets some books to look up the weird powers that vamp had.

24 Sep 2000, Sunday 6:12pm, Gemma's room

Then Casey and Mary rock over to Jayde's house to look for weird web stuff. Mary spots some over the closet and over the bed in Jayde's room, so the geek trio plan a research sleep over.

Jayde shudders and happily goes patroling.

Mary and the gang find a reference to an Egyptian astral travel spell that gives the traveller a human face on a falcon body.

Jayde is off in the graveyards and then the uni looking for action. She's around telegraph road when she senses something weird.

Looking around she finds a jewelry store with a reenforced door ripped off.

She keeps patroling nad sees a shadow up on a wall. Looking closer she sees something crouching up on top of the roof. She fades into the shadows and watches. There is something definatly supernatural on the roof.

It strolls back and forward and eventually leaps down the wall and into an alley. jayde follows.

When she gets down the end of the alley she sees her soon to be new friend tinkering round. They chat for a bit and apparently her wavie haired new friend wants to give jayde a gooey offering so they 'wont fight'. Uh-huh.

Jayde takes the gooey bit back to alex to look at.

Mary and Gemma discover that the astral travel ritual is very old and probably about the safest one. Hmmm.

25 Sep 2000, Monday 9:34am, Alex's office UCB campus

Alex mentions the bit that Jayde brought in. Apparently its not human (fortunatly).

Alex has also brought Roberta and Urda to do a tarot reading for out young slayer.

Roberta deals the death card and gets spooked so Urda does the reading.

Urda offers to do a reading for Mary but Mary declines. Mary heads off to class

Jayde goes and trains with Michael. Given their discussion about Faith, they consentrate on dealing with a stronger opponent.

Faith rings jayde and denies assulting Hoshi again. She rants about the watchers some and Jayde offers her dad's services as a lawer which seems to plecate Faith.

After returning home and checking that no geeky clothes have ended up in her wardrobe, Jayde rests for a bit before heading off to her arvo meeting with alex.

Alex reports that the brain bit is from a Garolg demon which is a tunnel dwelling, stone merging monster, often found in packs.

Mary visits.

25 Sep 2000, Monday 6:12pm, Dinner round Berkelelelely

Jayde then heads off for dinner with Gemma and dad. She notices and old guy with a young girl in 50's clothes (designer 50's!!).

After dinner, Jayde has a chat with 50's girl in the lady's room. She says, "You;ll have a chice son. I represent one of the sides. Not at either extreme, but in a sane place between. I want a future for humanity. Oh and by the way, the war council are going to visit you soon."

Jayde relies with a cunning "Uh-huh."

Bernadette and david, two war council flunkies come and warn Jayde about 'The traveller'.

"What, from ghost busters?"

"The vampire you fought in the graveyard was a disciple of teh traveller. The traveller is a spirit realm entity. Very dangerous."

Jayde heads off to chat with Alex about all of this.

Jayde checks for wavy haired girl again, but just finds some bits. A finger, a bone, some scale and what looks like a human ear. Eeew.

She dumps the bits in alex's fridge and then heads off home to sleep.

Tuesday morning.

Jayde goes jogging with michael.

Lunch time meeting. Alex dumps the 411 on da traveller.

"The traveller is either 1 invincible creature or a race. It seems to be resident in the magic realms and can portal or something into this dimension. It often leads to a massive spike in supernatural activity after its visit."

Jayde trains for a bit and then hangs out at the mall.

26 Sep 2000, Tuesday 5:39pm, Alexs office

Evening watchers meeting. Jayde's friend from the other night, Chuvelete DuPre is also there. Apparently she is the daughter of a circle of mages who often help the council avert the end of the world. Jayde seems a little puzzeled because she looks a little older and has darker skin, but other than that it is the same woman (Once again she is in formal clothes, although not 50's).

She speels: "I have come to help with the traveller. It is an entity that exists naturally in the spirit world, and it can take over a host in this world. Noone is quite sure of it's shape, and some say it is simply a shadow or a host of a different creature again. There are some texts that talk about destroying it, but it must be done in the spirit world and the real world simulataneously, and, well, it has been reported since it 'was destroyed'."

"I am bringing the focus of my circle here and I am sure we could 'bind' the creature. This would avoid the need to actually fight it and would be an alternative to destroying it. I shall tell you more as I learn it. With luck I can track the creature in this dimension, or aleast it's link to the host."

Jade patrols back to telegraph rd looking for more presents.

Mary patrols the uni.

Jayde finds a heart near a dumpster. Eeeeww again. Wavey hair girl leps down and offers some more icky bits which Jayde bags rather than eat. It is an "offering to a warrior and a sister. We are same. We fight spirits and demons."

Jayde's new friend has red skin, horns and the animated hair thats just so cool to a baldy like Jayde. :).

She rants on about them being the same and "not fighting."

"So, what do you fight with?"

"I alone."

"Yeah, but with what?"

"Claw and tooth. I destroy the demons inside things."

"Who taught you?"

"Err. Teacher. *nods*" Great.

Jayde gets a close look at her and something in her social little brain says 'we've met before'?

Before they chat much more she is away... dum da de da...

Jayde heads back to uni to deposit her fleshy bits.

Alex will look up the demon type. Jayde offers. "Slayer of spirits she said. Yeah and she's too much red girl."

Jayde gets a weird sense at uni and goes to explore.

Mary sees chuvelete and a friend (and odler guy) head towards the tower. They seem to have a key and go in. Mary leaps up to a window and breaks in. She follows them up and sees the guy in the hall outside. Chuv is inside a room. Mary waits until they leave and then looks in. Inside are boxes and boxes of bones and there is a little earthen bowl with some paste in it.

Mary heads out after them and Chuv looks odd and turns to head east. Mary follows.

Jayde gets up to a green area and hears something in the bushes. She gets ready to leap when a cat hops out.

With a perky narelleish smile, "Meow".

Jayde cant shake her weird feeling, but the cat is cute.

The shadows seem more threatening and Jayde is in combat mode. Chuvelete comes running up, her friend and Mary in tow.

There is a noise in some bushes and a guy comes walking towards them, holding his hands out infront of him. From his hands boil black globs which fall to the ground and seem to kill the grass and bushes.

EEk!

Mary peeks into the spirit world and sees seething, boiling mass of aura pouring off the guy and all over the area. You're soaking in it!! Mary recognises the guy as Peter Jenkins from highschool bio classes. He was obsessed by germs then... man it must suck to be him now, huh?

He keeps walking forward.

Chevelete and Mary both yell "It's the Traveller! Run!"

Everyone runs.

Wackyness ensues.

Jayde runs off away from the area, only to run smack up into the shed she ran away from. Damn! Back to square one. Mary heads off, but things are just weird. One has to turn left to run straight. This is broken!!!!

Eveyone ends up back in one place. Jayde sees Mary and Faith fighting, each has one hand on the knife and the other around the others neck. Sometimes one will overpower the other and seem to absorbe the loser, but they will just boil/burst from somewhere else and
